Virtual Network Adaptor not found in host network connection

Untitled.png

I have installed Vmware workstation pro 15, However. Vmnet 1 & Vmnet 8 are missing in my network connection. When i check it in the device manager. Both vmnet have ! mark on it and says it needs to configure. I have tried few solutions but it does not solve the problem.

Problem:

1. Network adaptor missing in host network connection, both status is "not  present"

2. selection for "connect host virtual adaptor to network" cannot be check, even though i had checked & applied it. When the process is done, the checkbox remain back to unchecked status.

Tried Solution:

1. Uninstall & Reinstall it without any firewall & antivirus

2. Installed as administrator

3. Reset network

4. Restore defaults ins VNE

5. Repair vmware

6. Uninstalled & reinstalled both drive.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you.

Check your hosts registry:

do you have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\ROOT\VMWARE\0000 ?
do you have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\ROOT\VMWARE\0001 ?

If not the Workstation installation failed and is incomplete.

You need to provide more data - what is the host OS ?
Is your host OS compatible to Workstation 15 ?
