I'm trying to capture a Windows 8.1 x64 enterprise image from workstation and the network is going unbelievably slowly.
Details:
Windows 8.1 x64 guest
Workstation 10.0.1
Hardware version 10.0
2 vCPU. 1.5GB RAM
I have prepared a machine and sysprepped it, now capturing to a WDS server from a 8.1 x64 boot image:
When capturing the network stops working, I've managed no more than 15% in two hours, usually it doesn't even get started with the file transfer. A manual file copy to the server also fails with a Error 0x8007003B: An unexpected network error occurred. Pings are fine and I can login to the WDS server to see the image groups.
Switching the network card from 1000e to 1000 and the capture works fine. Has anyone else had this issue?
Replying to myself, but it seems the answer is yes, the E1000e is a bit broken 😐
Wish I'd know before building all the images 😕
Hi
Welcome to the communities.
Most probably you must check duplex & transmission mode .
