VNC connection to VMware Workstation dies

I would like to control VM guests on ESXi by using a local VMware Workstion running on this ESXi machine

So I have made a VMworkstation9(Ubuntu12.04) VM01 guest run on the ESXi host.

I have setup a 'vncserver' on this guest VM01.

i.e. apt-get install vnc4server tightvncserver

Connect to the VNC server on VM01 from a remote machine.

Using this vnc session I then am able open up the VM Workstation Software - So I can connect to ESXi and so can connect to the its guest VMs.

Clicking on any ESXi Guest console within the VMWare Workstion software I get  - HINT The X server does not support the XKEYBOARD extention. The keyboard indicator lights will not work correctly without this feature.

Unsure if this is related. But when I clicking to another VM guest console e.g. VM02 causes VNC server on VM01 crashes.

Does this make any sence?

xdpyinfo -ext XKEYBOARD | tail -2

XKEYBOARD extentention not supported by server.

Any ideas how to make my vnc4server/tightvncserver have XKEYBOARD extention added. no /etc.X11/xorg.conf file in ubuntu.
