Select Typical as the VM Creation mode.
Click on the Next button.
Select Install Disc image.
Locate and select the desired Windows8 ISO.
Click on the Next button.
Enter the product code.
Select Windows 7 Professional.
Click on the Next button.
Enter Windows8_64 as the VM name.
Click on the Next button.
Select store VM as a single file.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Customize Hardware button.
Set the Memory to 2GB.
Click on the Close button.
Click on the Finish button.
After the VM is created and opened, unpin Task Bar apps, except the Windows Explorer.
Set Power Options.
Shut down the VM.
Set the Shared folders.
Remove Floppy from the Hardware list.
Select the CD/DVD (IDE) node.
Click on the Advanced button.
Enable the Legacy emulation check box.
Click on the OK button.
Select Use ISO Image file.
Locate and select the desired Windows8 ISO file.
Click on the OK button.
Restart the VM.
When the VM opens, open the DVD in Windows Explorer.
Run Setup in Admin mode.
Select No, thanks.
Click on the Next button.
Select to Agree to the License Agreement.
Click on the Accept button.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Install button.
Accept the License.
Click on the Accept button.
Name the VM/PC as Windows8_64.
Click on the Next Button.
Click on the Use Express Settings button.
Click on Yes, Share and connect.
Enter the Email Address.
Click on the Next Button.
Enter the Windows Live Password.
Click on the Next Button.
Shut down the VM.
Select the CD/DVD (IDE) node.
Select Use Physical drive.
Click on the Advanced button.
Enable the Legacy emulation check box.
Click on the OK button.
Click on the OK button.
Click on the VM menu.
Restart the VM.
Click on the VM menu.
Click on Reinstall VM Tools.
Open the DVD in Windows Explorer.
Run Setup in Admin mode.
Set the resolution to 1280X800.
