I installed Windows XP Pro vanilla (before SP1) on VMware 4.x on a Windows 98 machine setup (hoping to get a 32-bit CPU architecture). I like to run 16-bit DOS programs under XP under VMware.
But I get NTVDM error messages:
NTVDM.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyone know where any VMware Workstations can run NTVDM properly under XP? I know it supports Windows 3.1 & DOS guests...
