VMware workstation menu on Ubuntu Host

Hi All,

I'm running Workstation on mutliple Ubuntu 14.04 hosts and for the life of me i cannot get the Workstation menu bar (File, Edit, View, VM, Tabs, Help) to integrate into the Global menu bar on any Ubuntu Host.

I had the same issue with Workstation 10.  It's the only app that does this.

Is there a hidden setting somewhere i can change to enable this?  I know it sounds minor - but every bit of screen real estate counts Smiley Happy

Thanks for the posting! Does it happen just when you launch workstation on Ubuntu14.04 host? We always can see the workstation menu bar (File, Edit, View, VM, Tabs, Help) on the top left corner, so it's really weird.

Are you in full screen mode or console mode when you are running a VM? If in full screen mode, the menu bar will hide automatically on the top of screen. Also if the WS was not in maxium window, can you see the menu bar?

Which WS version are you using? And to get more clue, would you please upload the vmware.log?
