VMware workstation 16 NAT?

Hi,

I don't think it is possible but thought I would ask anyway.

Can VMWare workstation have more then one NAT network? If so how?

Thanks,

Ward.

I wish VMware would fix their oversimplified GUI and documentation - then questions like this one would not be necessary.

You can create manu "hostOnly" networks - the vmnet8 network also is just another "hostOnly" network - it just adds an additional NAT-service.
So when you ask for another NAT network you ask for 2 things: another hostonly network  and for another NAT-service.

Part 1: yes
Part 2: never tried that - you would need a second instance of the vmnat-service ...

But there are good and easy workarounds: just use a small firewall appliance like monowall or similar - then you can use the firewall VM  to supply a NAT-service for another "hostOnly" network

Send a network-diagram that shows what you want - then you get a suggestion.

I do not support Workstation 16 at this time ...

Hi Immortal,

Thanks for your advice. I am doing a router with pfsense which seems to be going ok.
