VMware not closed properly

Hi everyone, I need help urgently.
At around 5:00 pm yesterday, my computer automatically updated and restarted the computer
The running virtual machine was not shut down or suspended at this time, and I didn't notice that the computer was updated.
When the computer is restarted, the virtual machine cannot be restarted, and all my work materials and files are inside.
The system shows that the virtual machine is running, but the virtual machine does not start, how should I solve this problem? Or how can I extract data and files?

Close the Workstation UI.  Browse to the Virtual Machines folder, and the folder for that particular VM.  Delete any *.lck files and folders.  Re-open Workstation and try to start the VM again.

I made a copy of the file first, then did your suggestion with the copied file.
I successfully restarted the virtual machine, thanks a lot for your advice.

You helped me solve this problem, thank you very much for your help.
