VMware disables console shortcuts on Linux host

Title pretty much says it all, I can't use shiftctrlC to copy or shiftcontrolV to paste anymore in Konsole (Yakuake) anymore. I was going mad trying to figure out how I lost it until I realized it worked until I started VMware. Is there a way to disable the hotkeys, I've been playing with it but I can't find a way, and I really miss being able to paste into the command line by keyboard.

Which version of Workstation are you using?

I'm not sure what's swallowing CtrlShiftC, but we CtrlShiftV is used for accessing the Unity applications menu. We fixed it in Workstation 7.0 so that it's configurable and so that we leave it alone if you're not using Unity mode.
