VMware console mode

Whether it is possible to start VMware in a console mode (without GUI)?

I am not sure that I understand your question.

What is your host OS?

What is your guest OS?

What exact version of VMware Workstation

VMware is an application that requires Windows or X Windows be running

You can start the VM in full screen.

Me interests, whether there is such opportunity. Unimportantly what operational systems are used.

VMware Workstation 6 does allow you to run the VMware in the background, but like I said before you need Windows or X Windows running on the host.

If you want to access the VM without seeing the VMware GUI, you can access the guest OS, using the bulit-in VNC server.

I have understood. Prompt, where it is possible to see the list of the commands accessible from the console. Management of virtual machines and so forth interests.

You can try using 'vmrun', which is a command-line tool for control virtual machines.

It allows you to do power operations, manage snapshots, and perform guest operations (working with files, running programs, etc. inside the guest OS).

Can you provide more details about performing guest operations?

The documentation for the commands available through vmrun, take a look at the section entitled "Guest Operating System Commands" -
