I am using VMware Workstation Pro 14 and everytime I set the fullscreen mode to stretch guest any high performance applications such as games seem to lag when the mouse is moved.
This issue is not present in centered mode or windowed. Any resolutions to this issue? I am using UHD620 as GPU acceleration (Surface Book 2).
So far what did work was using a desktop resolution lower so that no stretch mode is needed for vmware, but setting multiple custom resolutions (to match 3/2 aspect) in not an easy thing in Windows XP machines.
Why does stretching (downsampling) in VMware for fullscreen cause performance issues (frames per seconds highly reduced) when the mouse is moved?
