VMware Workstation and compability with Vista Home Premium Version

Can I use Vmware workstation on a Vista Home Premium OS? I'm not sure what this line in the doc under 5.5.3 means: Experimental enhanced support for Microsoft Windows Vista?

Is it compatible?

The line you are referring to is under the Supported Guests section. The only VMware product which has support for Vista hosts at the moment is the beta version of Workstation 6.

Now, several users HAVE gotten Workstation 5.5x to work on a Vista host. Search the forum for issues they've run into.

with Vista as a VM

with Vista as a host you should use Workstation 6 (currently beta)
