VMware Workstation - Vista install stops at 'Completing Installation'

I am using WMware Workstation v6.5.3 build 685404.

I am trying to install Vista Business, from an iso image located on my host computer on a virtual machine with 1024MB Ram & 16GB hard disk.

However the installation stops at the 'completing installation' stage. The 3 dots after the words 'completing installation' still continue to scroll, but the install never goes past this point.

Any help in getting this to fully install would be much appreciated.

16GB Harddisk space looks very small. The amount of RAM, 1024 Mb, should be enough.

How long did the install stall at that point?

What is the configuration of the host computer? (OS, Ram memory, Harddisk size, ...)
