VMware Workstation Pro Causing BSOD on host PC

When trying to start/create a virtual machine in VMware Workstation 15 Pro (also tried with 16 and same problem) my computer will crash and BSOD. Happens every time.

I attached a text file of the dump files contents below.

Your crash.txt file shows SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION which is one of the more vague errors. Generally the best way to solve these is to ensure everything is up to date on your host.

In your case this would mean updating Windows 10 (I do not mean feature updates) up to the LatestCumulativeUpdate and ensuring your current version of Workstation is also on the latest (eg 15.5.7-17171714 if sticking with 15 but even better would be 16.1.2-17966106) along with any device drivers (ex GPU, Network or even a Sound Card)

Aside from ensuring everything is up to date on the host you can also check the integrity of your Windows 10 installation.
