VMware Workstation Player problem boot!!!

Can anybody help me here please. I'm having problem for weeks now regarding VMware workstation player 14 version 14.1.3 build 9474260 can't boot to iso image or disc. I have change the boot sequence already to boot priority to cd rom but still nothing works. I have attached the screen shots. Please help...

some questions:

• did it work before, or has it never worked at all?
• can you confirm that the ISO image is bootable?
• did you enable "Connect at Power On" in the VM's CD-ROM settings?
• how did you configure the CD-ROM (please attach the VM's vmware.log file to a reply post)?
