VMware Workstation 9: No 3D Acceleration for windows 8 Guests

The Video driver which belongs to vmtools for workstation 9 can be installed into the windows 8 guest normally. However its purpose seems to just let the guest os recognize the virtual video card only. No 3d accelerating is supplied by this driver. The 3d games lag and the 'Display-Only Display Device' is shown on the dxdiag program(which is no different to be with a standard VGA card, actually).

i know i know...

But once i could play those 3d metro games... It's truely a fallback, isn't it??
