VMware Workstation 7.1.1 NAT Bug ?
I upgrade from VMware Workstation for MS-Windows 7.1 to 7.1.1
I ping www.hinet.net successfully from GuestOS on 7.1.1.
I ping GuestOS successfully from another GuestOS on 7.1.1.
I can ping failed from HostOS to Guest on 7.1.1 (I test CentOS 5.5 x86 and Windows XP)
, but ping successfully on 7.1.
VMware Workstation 7.1.1 seems has NAT Bug ???
Just confirming that I have the problem too.
Host and Guest worked well until I upgraded from 7.1 to 7.1.1.
Guest has is database server and now I can't ping it or the O/S at all.
Worked just before I upgraded.
Please help, or should I go back?
Do you ping by IP address or name? Do you use the VMnet8 IP address of the guest or the host IP address?
Have you checked that all firewalls are down (host and guest)?
