Hello, on a Windows 11 host (Intel i912950HX) my vm guest machines are running very slow.
(W11 22H2, VMWare Workstation 16.2.5)
I had a look at the following thread.
All of the actions below were done:
- Hyper-V is disabled in 'Turn Windows Features on/off'
- bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off was also executed
- the core isolation was disabled
But still when I start my VM in the log file it still detects hyper-V and set the Monitor Mode to ULM.
Any other ideas?
I have also followed the necessary steps to disable Hyper V and my vmware log still says Monitor Mode: ULM. I actually disabled Hyper V on the Host and the Guest. Are there any other solutions to fully disable Hyper V and have my vmware log say CPL0?
Running Windows 11
Workstation Pro 16.2.2
I found this by searching. The first (2) didn't work for me but the last one did using the PowerShell option. I rebooted and opened up windows 10 VMware guest and it seems to be faster; however, the log file still says Monitor Mode: ULM. I will keep everyone posted

I found this link and it seemed to speed up my VMWare guest considerably.
