VMware Workstation 16.2.4 won't install on Windows 11 Pro 22H2

I'm having an issue trying to install VMware Workstation on my fresh installed Windows 11 22H2.

I get the message "Failed to install HCMON drivers". It just hang there.

Bios Visualization is enable.

System: Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro WiFi with 128G RAM

I tried right click "Run as Administrator", I also tried Elevated CMD prompt command, The windows troubleshooter. None of this worked.

It was working under Windows 11 Pro 21H2

this works for me. I've successfully installed Windows 11 22H2 on my vmware workstation pro 16.

You may want to try the Workstation Tech Preview, as it has better support for Win11 hosts and guests.
