Hello, When I was under ubuntu 21, vmware workstation 16.2.3 works fine, but with the new release of ubuntu, I've got the VMWARE Kernel Module Updater which execute with an error : unable to install all modules. I try to install and reinstall VMWARE Workstation with the same problem.
If you have an idea about resolving this problem, it would be great.
I have the same versions of VM WS Pro and Ubuntu. I too had no problem with running VMware Pro on 21.10 or 21.04. When I updated the kernel on those versions Pro would trigger a recompile of VMware's vmmon and vmnet kernel modules when it was next run and the process worked without a hitch.
Now the recompile fails with errors like this:

I have attached the log file as well.
VMware:
VMware-Workstation-Full-16.2.3-19376536.x86_64.bundle
OS:
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=22.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=jammy
This solution worked for me!
vmware's inability to release an updated version in a timely fashion is crazy ! vmware can't learn from previous mistakes - and repeats it over and over again.
