VMware Workstation 16.2.1 (Linux) USB 3.2

No USB devices are recognized by VMware on my Gigabyte Z690 Aorus motherboard.

I am guessing it is some sort of VMware driver issue or a motherboard BIOS setting/bug as the ports work fine outside of VMware.

Any ideas? A good portion of the ports are USB3.2 but not all. My USB Mouse and keyboard seem to work fine

but any additional devices (memory stick, camera) etc. do not attach nor do they show in the "Removable Devices" menu.

The same attached devices do show and work in Linux.

Hi, I still not have a solution with the similar problem using the Workstation Player.

I am wondering if it has to do with the CVE surrounding USB ports that was patched in 16.2.1.
