VMware Workstation 15.5 running slow on new Win11 machine

I moved my VM to my new, faster laptop Dell XPS 17, and now the VM is running much slower than on my slow laptop.
I'm using VMWare Workstation 15.5.7 build-17171714 running a Windows guest on a Windows Host.
VMWare Tools 11.0.6

New host: Intel i9-12900H, 14 Core(s), 16GB, 1TB SSD RTX3060 - Windows 11

Old host: Intel i7 Quad core, 16GB, 512GB SSD GTX960M - Windows 10

I had to set hypervisorlaunchtype to OFF and disable "Core Isolation Memory Integrity" on the host to even get it to run.
The VM is using appropriate resources: 2CPUs, 2 cores each, and 8GB Memory
Guest CPU averaging 10%, Memory 40%
Host CPU averaging 6%, Memory 89%

What steps can I take to diagnose this?

Workstation 15 does not officially support Windows 11 hosts, and Intel's 12th gen CPUs are currently not officially supported by any version of Workstation (due to the performance/efficiency cores split).
