VMware Tools Won't Install In Fedora 7 - Moonshine.

I'm a newbie to this, and the solution to my problem has probably been posted elsewhere on the Forum, but:

VMware Tools refuses to install on Fedora 7 (or Freespire). When it comes to "configuring" VMware Tools I repeatedly recieve the message "Trying to find a suitable vmmemctl module for your running kernel"; and, "none of the pre-built vmmemctl modules for VMware Tools is suitable for your running kernel". I then get asked "What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel?". I have downloaded and installed the "headers", but can't find the location of the directory to point the command prompt to. Am I missing out on something simple and obvious here or will the current release of VMware Workstation never be able to fully run the current (and upcoming) distro of Fedora 7, is it an unresolvable kernel issue?

Just do

yum -y install kernel-devel

Then retry.
