VMware Teams Paths

Hi I need some serious help. Ive got a vm team and in the team files all the paths are absolute, is there anyway to make the paths independant because the vm team will be going on a usb to another system where i cant tell where the VMs will be stored except that they will always be in the current directory /ADDS/ADDS.vmx and /PROXY/PROXY.vmx. This means the team will say it cant find the file bah.vmx

Any help appreciated

Thanks

what is the problem ?

mount the USB-disk to the same path you usually use - that should be no problem with a junction.

or - in case you use fat32 where no junctions are possible - fix the paths

if your team now is in C:\myVMs\team then use the same path on other mnachines.

Create blank directory C:\myVMs\team and mount the USB-drive to the directory team.

That should work in allmost all cases
