VMs taking long time to startup/shutdown after upgrading to 15.5.7!

I started to experience delay in starting up/ shutting down my VMS after upgrading to latest workstation 15.5.7!

it takes around 8-10 minutes to get the vms started\shut. The vms has nothing but standard windows with enough resources. it is not matter of RAM\Processor as the vms used to run perfectly before the upgrade and the RAM/Processor utilization is less than 30% when the server is operating. Any suggestion!

Same issue after upgrading 15.5.6 to 15.5.7.  Also, my 15.5.6 VMware Workstation started instantly on my NVMe, 64GB Win 10 Pro machine.  15.5.7 takes several seconds to start up.  Feels like I time-warped back to spinning disks on my 10 year old computer.

15.5.7 seems to be lagging in the performance department.  Thought I was the only one experiencing this.

Rolling back to 15.5.6.
