VMs not as portable as i thought

i ran workstation 7.1.4 64-bit on windows 7 home premium 64-bit, installed centos 5 with zimbra network edition 7.1 on it, copy that VM over to a workstation 7.1.4 64-bit on debian 6 64-bit.

when i power on that VM on my linux, i got NMI errors, something about unsupported power management and services like zimbra wont start.

have anyone ever had this issue? or is it not doable?

Do both of your Hosts have the same type of processor (Intel vs AMD)?

Perhaps this KB article applies to your situation?  Not sure how to fix it though.
