VMnet0 (bridge) is broken in VMWare Workstation Pro 12.5 running on Windows 10 1607

Hello Im trying to use VMWare Workstation Pro 12.5 running on Windows 10 1607 but I need VMnet0 (which by default bridges the VM to the network directly) but I cannot get it to work. It does not appear under network connections. Only VMnet1 and VMnet8 appear. I have tried https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1308  but it did not help anything at all. Is there anything I can do? When I installed Windows 10 1607 from scratch, Im pretty sure it was working. How can I fix this?

VMnet0 does not appear in the Network Connections folder.  It is a protocol added to each physical adapter - look for the "VMware Bridge Protocol".
