I am a beginner with vmware workstation and I have a problem that I can't solve.
Can anyone help me in simple terms?
I have a windows 7 host with vmware 7.1 and have build a virtual linux server and other servers.
All worked well untill I decided to make the host a dual boot machine.
Now I don't have any network connection anymore on the vmware server.
The network is bridged.
I have disabled the firewall and antivirus program to see if it helped, but it didn't.
I have disabled the offload in the realtek nic.
On the host all works well (internet)
I have tried to build a new linux server, but encountered the same problem no network connection.
Does anyone have a clue how to connect it again?
if I use the ifconfig command in the linux server it shows the 127.0.0.1 adress which is wrong.
