VMWare machine does not synchronize time with host?

I am running VMWare Workstation 15.5.0 build-14665864, running a Windows10 guest inside Windows10 host.

Despite sync time is set to on, the time won't synchronize (see attached screenshot, both guest and host time are displayed: host having correct time, guest 1 hour behind).

What is the issue here?

I'm guessing the hour difference may be due to different time zone settings between the host and the guest.  As far as the several seconds, perhaps it is not a large enough difference to trigger the time sync.

Do you have the VMware Tools installed in the guest?

RDPetruska​ : both machines have the same time zone settings. I have the VMWare Tools installed in the guest. Personally I would expact that seconds matter in this case, regarding the synchronization between host and guest.
