VMWare Workstation v7.1 - Bridged Network on Laptop

Hi,

Is anyone able to assit me in getting a bridged networek setup on my VMWare Guest. I need to be able to connect to the host and other pc's on the physical network for the purposes of SQL database syncronisation.

My Host OS is Windows 7 SP1 (x64) running on a laptop, I beleive that Bridging is not possible through the Wireless apdapter but I have also tried this through in build physical LAN card and it still does not work.

My Guest OS is Windows 7 SP1 (x86) with on special configuration.

Thanks in advance.

Peter.

Mouhamad,

Hi I seemd to have resolved my issue by locking the Bridged Network function of VMWare to my physical network adapter in my laptop, when I checked the adapter mappings the Wirless card was at the top of the list plus another for VMLite network adapter.

Now the Bridging option is locked to my physical network adapter.

Regards..
