VMWare Workstation 8 Filing Hard Drive

Hello,

I am new to VMWare Workstation 8 and I found that since I installed it my hard drive will fill up when WMWare Workstation 8 is running slowly over time. I determine the cause is a file located in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp\vmware-username and the file in question is labelled vmware-ui-userid-xxxx.log xxxx is a 4 digit number. This file will consume dozens of gigabytes of space.

The problem is I'm on an SSD so space is a premium. Does anyone know of a way to limit this file's size or redirect to another drive. I didn't see a perference option or reg setting that stuck out.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Community,

the interesting part would be to know what is being logged in this file. Did you take a look at it to find out whether it contains hints on what's going wrong and therefore fills up the log file?

This error seems to be repeating throughout the entire log.
