VMWare Workstation 14 can't work with VT-d?

Hi,

I'm still getting the error message that "The host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled" message on VMWare Workstation 14.

The VT-d is enabled on Asus bios and it seems like there is only the VT-d option available.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

VT-x and VT-d are not exactly the same thing.

For VT-x in the BIOS it quite often is called something with "Virtualization".

If that's not it, then perhaps it is your Windows preventing you to use VT-x, please have a look at this topic:

(you might want to read it all, not just the post I linked towards)
