VMWare Workstation 14 - Windows 10 Host BSOD after Serial Cable Passthrough to VM

Hi,

We have recently P2V a Windows XP PC to run in VMWare Workstation 14 on installed on a Windows 10 Pro host machine. The VM runs fine, USB and other media pass-through seems to run fine. However, whenever we enable a serial port pass-through from the host to the VM, the host immediately BSOD. We need serial port pass-through for the application running on the XP VM.

I am not immediately in front of the machine ATM, but I can pull screenshots and logs here shortly is needed. However, was curious if anybody has run into this before?

Thanks!
