VMWare Workstation 11 will not burn a CD.

A friend of mine let me try out VMWare workstation 11.1.0-2496824. I noticed that I was experiencing problems with burning Audio CD's. I tried several different windows guests OS such as Win7 32-bit, WinVista, and WinXP and Nero 7 & 8. Each one presented some kind of burn error before evening burning the CD. I believe there is something wrong with ATAPI emulation on writing CD's. I uninstalled the product and went back to v10.0.4.2249910 and I have been able to burn audio CD's without any problems using Version10.

Has anybody else encountered this with Version 11?

Atapi-emulation will fail.

Use SCSI or SATA-devices configured as

sata*:*.deviceType = "cdrom-raw"
or

scsi*:*.deviceType = "cdrom-raw"
