VMWARE workstations 12 pro "failed to start the VMware Authorization Service"

vm:Kali Linux 2017.1

Host: Windows 10.0.15063 64 bit

When I try to start my virtual machin (just got it setup first time opening it) I received this error:

"VMware Workstation failed to start the VMware Authorization Service. You can try manually starting the VMware Authorization Service. If this problem persists, contact VMware support."

so I opened the services app and tried to start the VMware Authorization Service but then I got this error:

"Windows could not start the VMware Authorization Service service on Local Computer.

Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."

I tried restarting but didn't help, what should I do?

Can you run Workstation if you run it as administrator ?

Tried that already but didn't work
I launched the installer again and chose repair and well it fixed it, now no issues
