.VMDK file has completely vanished

Hi all, I really need some help. I'm running VMware workstation pro 16. one of my VM's was in a suspended state went to resume out of suspended state and it gave an error saying it couldn't locate the location of the .VMDK file.

Have searched high and low for the file. All the other files are unaffected, just missing the .VMDK. My other VM's are entirely unaffected and still have their .VMDK files. Searched for hidden files, full system search for .VMDK files only my other 2 VM's come up. Went ahead and ran Recuva file recovery nothing has even been deleted.

Really struggling to come up with any explanation. I use this VM every day and yes it's ridiculous I didn't have it backed up. I have a lot of data on that VM. I would really appreciate it it someone can take a look at it with me.

Q1: Wich Host OS?

Please to Analyze your Issue Upload the following:
- *.vmx File
- VMWare*.log
- List of all files inside of VM Folder
- A Picture of Error Message from VMWare Workstation 16

SOLVED: read another post one of the guys was having similar issue. Turns out to be Windows defender quarantining the file, even though i haven't made any changes to anti virus setting or the like.
