VM to VM Communication between 2 separate Workstations

Hi Guys !

Please guide me in this case when I have 2 workstations installed on separate physical machines. Both workstations are bridged with the network. Communications between the VMs on the same workstation and between the VMs on workstation1 with workstation2 itself and other physical machines are fine. But VM on workstation1 dont communicate or ping the VM on the workstation2. Is it a normal behavior between two separate workstations or there is any solution for this situation. Thanks

If guests from both VMware Workstations are using bridged network and both VMware Workstations hosts are connected to the same physical network (including same VLAN), the VMs should be able to communicate, of course you will need make sure guest firewall allow ICMP traffic and all guest uses the same subnet (if not, you will need a device with routing capability).
