VM Workstation - no bridge connection

Hello,

After removing WSL from Windows 11, I cannot connect VM Kali Linux to the network via Bridge.

It works fine under NAT.

I'm using VM Worstation 17.0.1

I'll appreciate any help on this.

Other users have reported issues with networking in 17.0.1.  Try reverting to 17.0.0

But 17.0.1 worked fine before I installed WSL.
The problem arises after I uninstalled WSL.

I didn't try to search for the differences between WSL 1 vs 2 (if that matters).  Maybe just try to reset your VMware networking?

(Maybe WSL 2 requires Hyper-V, so maybe you're running v1.)

Well, I tried everything without success.
What I found is that the system works fine with NAT including access to Internet.
When in Bridge, no IP is assigned.

I do succeeded to assign a static IP but in this case, there is network connectivity but no access to Internet.
I guess I have a problem with the DHCP but I don't know how to fix it.
