I recently did some work on my VM and exited properly - but now i can't get the VM to restart and I'm not sure what is wrong.
I've attached my log file - if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your help!

Today i tried cloning to VM to version 10 to see if that helps - but still it only opens with the blackscreen and underscore
There doesn't seem to be any tools in VM Workstation to scan/fix errors in the VM.
A white underscore in the upper left corner of the OS screen usually points to a MBR issue, which you may be able to fix using the guest operating system's native tools, or e.g. a 3-rd party tool like gParted.
