Installed Workstation Pro V16 on a Windows 10 pc with no problems.
Upgraded the PC to a clean install of Windows 11 - Installed Workstation Pro and checked my W10 VM's, all OK.
Upgraded a selection to Windows 11. But now every time I'm offered the choice before starting the VM to upgrade Tools.
This seems to be when the VM is encrypted and has a TPM installed via settings.
Bizarely, removing encryption and the TPM and installing the " managedVM.autoAddVTPM="software" " seems to have resolved the issue.
Windows 11 VM running, up-to-date , no encryption and no TPM added to the vmx file or in settings.
