Ok, I apologize if this has been discussed before. I'm on a deadline and getting ready to leave the office and I really need an answer by the time I get back so I can get to testing. So if the answer is "search the forum" then I'll do that. 
What I need to do is simulate a connection from across the internet; such as a wifi connection in a different state. I need to connect a client application with a server app. I need the VMWare workstation to have a different IP address but still somehow work even though I am running it on the same machine that I need to connect with. Being able to lower the ethernet speed to 10 Mb or so would be great as well.
