Upgraded to 15.5 from 15.0, now it won't accept my license key

What gives? I tried restarting my computer and Workstation Pro, but it just keep saying that I'm on a trial evaluation.

edit: Windows 10 64-bit Education Edition.

Hi HadManySons

Already have a license?

Have you tried to re-register the license?

Welcome to the Community,

... now it won't accept my license key

What exactly happens, if you enter the license key? Any warning/error messages?

To rule out permission issues, start VMware Workstation in elevated mode (right click, and "Run as Administrator") to see whether this allows you to enter the license key.

Nothing happens. It just closes the dialog box. In either admin mode or regular user mode.

Yeah, that's article is just how to enter a license key, which I already know. And any of the stub articles that it had listed already said that going from 15.0 to 15.5 should work.
