Upgrade from workstation pro version 10

I am running workstation pro version 10.0.7 on Win10 home 1803 with a vista guest and a XP guest.

I would like to upgrade to a more current version. What is the upgrade path to the most current version?

Will my existing guests need any kind of conversion?

What type of problems can I expect?

Is there any documentation available regarding converting from old versions?

Thanks

Dennis

When you update your Windows to 1903 you will need WS 15 - latest version.

WS 14 and later have significantly higher demands for the CPU your host uses.

Read the system requirements carefully - your host may not qualify to run WS 14 and later.
In theory updating the VM is no problem - I dont see any problems here.

But be careful and dont try to update Workstation without checking the CPU requirements.

Am running a 6 core 12 thread ryzen cpu and 16gig of memory, that should be sufficient to run the latest workstation pro I would think.

Thank you for your prompt reply Continuum. I will review the documentation for system requirements.
