Upgrade from Workstation 7.1 to Workstation 12 Pro. And a video card question

Greetings,

In 2011 (I think) we purchased a 3 license pak for the VMware Workstation 7.1 product.   I am currently looking to update that.   I have seen Workstation 12 Pro listed on VMware's site with an upgrade.  Can you upgrade from 7.1 directly to 12 Pro ?

Also, I am getting a new system and have discovered it  has the NVIDIA Quadro K420 graphic card.   Is that going to work with Workstation 12 Pro ?

No you can't upgrade from WS 7.1 to Workstation 12 Pro.  However you download a trial and see if buying a new license would really be worth it.

my suggestion is install workstation 12 pro and open you virtual machines directly from 12
