AttracsHi Attracs,

Thank you for using Workstation.

Would you please answer the questions below?

So that we can investigate further.

1) What's the vmTools version number currently installed on your host?

You can follow the steps to see the version number:

1. Right click the VM -> Settings

2. Click CD/DVD tab, choose "Use ISO image file"

3. Then browse to the Workstation installation folder, choose "windows.iso". The tools installer is now mounted in guest.

4. Browse the contents in guest's CD/DVD driver.

5. Right click on the file "setup.exe"

6. Choose the Details tab, then you can see the Product version.

2) How did you install WorksStation 10.0.6 build-2700073?

Do you upgrade it from previous version, or just downloaded the installer from vmware.com and fresh installed it?

Thanks a lot!

Hi, sorry for the real late answer.

But I am not able to found that windows.iso file in the installation folder.

So that could explain the error.

Where can I download the file ?
