Unity z-order not working with Fedora host

I running a Fedora 8 linux host with VMware Workstation 6.5. I am running a Windows XP guest in Unity mode.

I have 3 Windows XP windows (e-mail, iexplorer, notepad) open and a 2 Linux windows open (konsole, firefox).

When I alt-tab between the windows they all show up in the switcher/chooser window but no matter which Windows XP window I choose, the highest z-order window XP is shown.

So if "e-mail" is the highest z-order Windows XP window and I choose "notepad" with alt-tab, the "e-mail" window shows up.

The only way to get another Windows XP window to appear is to minimize and then maximize the app from the linux task bar it then appears on top.

Is anyone else seeing this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks
