I'm virtualizing a software that has a hard requirement of having the AHCI controller as 0:23.0.
VMware has it as some other number, and whenever I try to change pciSlotNumber it just resets it.
Things I've tried:
* change sata0.pciSlotNumber = "23"
* change sata0.pciSlotNumber to 23 and swap its old value with whatever pciBridge had "23"
* change sata0.pciSlotNumber to 23 and set all other pciSlotNumber to -1
Tried this on both Workstation Pro and ESXi, no luck.
Any way I can present the SATA controller at 0:23.0 to the host?
