Unable to create a new virtual machine: No permission to perform this operation.

Hi I am trying to install a Windows 10 vm. When I click finish I am greeted with this popup. I am running Windows 10. How can I resolve this?

Version of Workstation?

Can you create any VMs?

Do you have existing VMs which run without problem?

Can you try running VMware as administrator and see if this makes any difference ? Have you ever created a VM on the current workstation you are using ?
