Unable to connect to the MKS: Too many socket connect attempts; giving up.

I restarted my PC, went to run my Windows 7 VM and I got this error.

So far I've re-installed VMware but still getting this error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you able to collect logs and attach to this thread?

Instructions: VMware Knowledge Base

Please include the VM logs, there will be an option to select logs for this specific VM when prompted.

I had identical symptoms after installing 14.1.1, build 7528167. Rebooting the host made the problem go away.
