Unable to connect server on host only network from server on bridge or NAT

I have configuered 5 guest OS (windows server 2003) on Vmware workstation( on a single host). Among them three servers are on Host only network and other two are on Bridge network and NAT respectively. All Guest os are on a single LAN (i.e Team).

I can connect the server on Bridge or NAT to internet. But I am unable to ping the servers (on host only network) from the server (on bridge or NAT). IP assigned to host only network is of Class A subnet. And server on Bridge or NAT is dynamically assigned by DHCP service.

Can anyone help me?

for you to be able to connect all the VMs, you would have 2 options:

- connect all your VMs on the host only network

- if you really need to keep your 2 VMs on the bridged and NAT, then you would need to assign 2 NICs to those VMs. One of the NICs connected to Bridged/NAT and the other NIC connected to host only.

Jose,

thank you very much.

It is working now. I have added extra ethernet adapter to VM servers. One more query.. I have one exchange server among my three VMs. I want to talk this excahnge server directly to a physical network. How is it possible?

Again I need to add this server to bridge network?

yes, that would do it (connect it to bridged network)
